A couple months ago, I crossed over the 50K followers on facebook! Since then I have been thinking about what I could in return that would honor where we have been together and where we are headed! Ultimately, I decided that I wanted to give you a shopping spree to my favorite place of math inspiration, ETA hand2mind!
The rafflecopter to enter the giveaway is in this post so keep reading! There will be 5 winners! Each winner will recieve $100 ecard to spend at ETA hand2mind!
Why Math Manipulatives?
I have discovered to reach young math minds, math manipulatives were essesntial. Actvive learning is how we can involve every child and engage every mind. I want to give you the tools to be inspired! Conceptual understanding paired with procedural understanding is key! Plus we all know that manipulatives take even a reluctant learner and transform them into an interested participant!
It doesn’t stop with K and 1, big kids can greatly benefit from using manips too!
So what I would love is to give you the ability to shop for your students and your classroom!
Already stocked?
If your school already carries the basic manipulatives, (lucky you!) don’t worry! You’ll find TONS of exciting tools that you don’t already have. There’s some really innovative and new manips that have come on the scene lately! I just bought some myself for third grade as I am working through the guided math series. Chances are that your school’s math manipulatives come from ETA hand2mind like mine did! That’s where I first fell in love!
So check out ETA hand2mind and start building that wishlist! I think you’ll notice right away that they have the MOST selection and the BEST prices! {and no one paid me to say or write any of this! The opinions in this post are mine!}

I would love a variety of manipulative to give to new new passionate teachers who have chosen to help those students with disabilities and need to build their tool box to help others. Hello Mrs. Tunstall:
I love all your resources especially your math journals/centers and guided reading.
Thank you for all your efforts in making teaching and learning fun and engaging.
Hi Reagan, I love ETA hand2mind manipulatives too! I have purchased a lot with my personal money but am still short on pattern blocks (wooden — the foam ones fall apart) and I was just re-introduced to Cuisenaire Rods at a math class for teachers recently (saw them in the 70’s but had forgotten all about them!) Would also love to get some more two-sided counters as we ran out the other day when trying to solve some simple addition/subtraction problems.. I sound greedy but honestly it would not take long to spend the money as ETA hand2mind have soooooo many GREAT products and funds have been very low over the past 10 years in our school district for such “luxuries.”
Would love to win this! How do I enter?! I’m a new kindergarten teacher and definately. Old use these awesome manipulative! Thanks so much!

I teach at a brand new school and we don’t have a lot of manipulatives YET! I’d love to get some first grade manipulatives like the reknekek’s. 🙂 (am I spelling that right?) – and more pattern blocks for our awesome team!
As a life skills special education teacher most of the things we need in our classrooms we usually buy or make on our own. This could give me valuable resources for my students because everything we do is performance based.
Where can I find the pattern block tray Reagan?
It was a target dollar spot find!
We don’t have a current math series in my district and my manipulatives have been well loved by many other first graders. I could definitely put this $$$ to great use in my room with my diverse group of learners.
