Friday was our last day of school. We enjoyed minute to win it games and candy awards. We laughed, we cried, we hugged and high fived. The perfect ending.
This special day also happened to be my last day at this school. I moved to Texas in 2007. I got this job teaching first grade in 2007 and have stayed in first grade my entire time in this school. My own two children attended here and some of our best family memories are within these walls.

Such a nice walk down memory lane. Moving classrooms and schools is always so hard. My mom was a teacher and I went to school in the same district she taught in. That commute to work/school in the morning with my mom is a memory I will cherish always. Long talks, scenery, and each others company…nothing compares to that. I love your blog!!!!. Good luck in your move and new job. I totally understand the moving because it takes my fingers and toes to count all the districts and schools that I've taught at.
