This weekend I made over my pixy stick birthday balloons to match my new room colors!
I ordered a box of large pixy sticks on amazon.
(Last year I found them at the grocery store but this year I couldn’t find any!)
The bag bothered me all year because it was just a bag. Inside the bag is a jar weighed down with a couple rocks. My original post on these is {HERE}I found the idea on ProTeacher.
Rachelle from What the Teacher Wants has been doing these for longer than I have and here’s a link to her birthday balloons too!
This is the cheapest and easiest “gift” I have ever done for student birthdays and they think it is AMAZING! (I am sure their parents do to!!!) I send it home with them of course!

I've been meaning to make these, too! I think I saw the pixie sticks at a Dollar General??

I used the pixie birthday balloons last year but I had them in a glass vase {scary right?}. I was on the hunt for a better way to display them so thank you so much for the great idea. Yours turned out precious! I'm lucky that I live in an area that has a Mast General Store. Thats where I've been getting my pixies.

Very cute! I just made the flower pot version with little flower toppers. I have to give pencils because we have a new wellness plan that says no candy (also no cupcakes for birthdays!)
