Fun Fact: I believe it was this weekend last year when I stumbled upon teacher blogs. !!! Now I can’t live without them! It is a constant in my life. Thank you blog friends! I have a freebie for you at the end of this post!
Happy Teacher Appreciation week too! One of my parents sent in these sweet gifts from her son and I was crazy excited!
Since we are growing bean seeds in Science the students were really thrilled with all the connections…or was that me? I think both!
Let’s just say that we didn’t have to imagine what a beanstalk was or how it would reach the sky. We just glanced over to the window!
On Friday we made this math craftivity and THEY LOVED IT!
Some kids were able to do it so easily while others had to really count it out and go back and forth. For one little sweetie it made the light bulb click on and she said…oh the numbers are skipping and going on the other side! (hey it’s never too late right?!)
“He” decided to cook up a good book (and student!) By reading Pete’s A Pizza by William Steig
I also want you to check out Anita’s post about this freebie! She made the cutest meatballs. When I saw them I knew they would go perfectly with our lessons this week.

That video is HILARIOUS!!!! Where did she get the costume? Thank you for sharing the spaghetti spelling freebie…I just pinned it.
