I am taken aback by ALL the comments on my house pictures post. I just want to thank you so much for all the kind words and comments! I knew we weren’t crazy for loving this house! After 7 months of rejection {so to speak} from potential buyers I started to question everything! I think I have been through the 5 stages of grief…no joke. I know people have far worse problems but this has taken a BIG toll on me!
I am in LOVE with my house all over again after hearing all those amazing comments. We even sat at dinner last night and talked about all the things we love about the house. Thank you SO much for commenting.
A number of you asked why we were moving. The location is not great for either of our jobs. With my school start time being 7am,{a.k.a. crack-a-lack-a of dawn} I have to leave my house with my kids dressed and fed, {and AWAKE} by 6:20. We have done this commute for 5 years.
Now that my outlook has brightened…
I am ready to share a cheery way to brighten up your classroom! The first time I did this it was in preparation for open house. I wanted bright and cheery explosion and this craftivity sure is just that! Now I do it regardless of my open house timing. It gets LOTS of looks and compliments and most importantly the students LOVE it!

Since your comments made such a big difference for me yesterday, I will give the first 3 people to comment this craftivity for Free! Leave your email please!

Your house is beautiful. I love the stone, kitchen, laundry, backyard. Everything! Wish it was on the market where we live.

holy mama! I just went back and looked at those pix. Unless you live next to a toxic waste dump, I have no idea why the first person who walked in didn't buy it. Heck if I lived closer, I'd buy it!
Good luck girl!

Sunny Days In Second Grade
I think your home is lovely! People are always looking for a deal and do not want to pay top dollar. That being said you get what you pay for. Your house is lovely. I am not a deeply relegious person, but this was something we did when I sold a house about 15 years ago. My mom was a devout Catholic and sent me a model of St Joseph and his family to bury near the for sale sign. The story goes that since he was a carpenter that if you did this you would sell your house. Well mom couldn't find St. Joseph alone, so she sent the whole family wrapped in cling wrap and in a baggie. A friend of mine from Philly told me her sister done the same and they sold their house in 2 weeks. So we decided to try it and guess what my home was gone in less than 3 weeks. My real estate agent had never heard of this before . Perhaps she worked harder I do not know. But she now has this family on her desk. Try it what do you have to loose?
Wow, school starts at 7am? No wonder you're looking for something else. I hope your house sells very soon and you and you husband find exactly what you're looking for. Good Luck!
