Tunstall's Teaching Tidbits

Teaching with Heart and Creativity

Currently Contemplating…

My Local Blog Buddy Farley is having her Currently Party so I urge you to
join because it is kind of a HUGE event.  Don’t Blanic–it’s still early in the month, but click her button at the bottom of this post and link up!

I am having commenting issues!!!  On at least half or more of the blogs I read this weekend I could not comment! I don’t know what is wrong, but I want you to know that I want to comment all the time and I can’t!!!  So if you are thinking…where did Reagan go?  I am here and I am reading your blog posts!  REALLY!  I am hoping my blog change up will fix it…

Also my polka dotted makeover is experiencing technical difficulties and is now scheduled for Wed.  I guess I keep adding more stuff or something.  I am not doing it myself.  I am not that talented.  See my current blog?  That’s a do it yourselfer…I am ready for the real deal.  I love all the cute blogs I see.  I stumbled upon the blog template the day after I ordered it and got really bummed that someone else has it.  But so far I have only seen one of it.  Mine will still be a little different then the one I saw.  So I am ok with it.  sort. of.

February is a tough month for me in general.  It’s burn out time.  What are you doing to help get through the winter blahs?  I got myself a scarf and a sweater this weekend.  🙂 I am excited to have something new to wear to school.

It’s THE SCARF…the one I keep referring to.  Here’s the story…{Since it is a Farley party I think it is the perfect time to share}
Farley and I decided to buy door prizes for the bloggy meet up we had last month.  I was at Target and picked up a pink scarf with gray giraffes on it.  We gave our prizes out and Farley had a major connection with the scarf that Kristina won.  I told her I got it at Target so she sent her hubby on a giraffe scarf hunt.  He went to 3 different targets in San Antonio and could not find it!!!
Then a week later Farley sent me a picture mail with a big smile on her face and the scarf around her neck!!! Just seeing her in that scarf made me HAVE TO HAVE ONE too.  So this weekend I was at Target and I saw THE SCARF.  I now have it too!
When I wear it this week I will take a picture of it and post it.  I am sure you can’t wait.  I mean really.  It’s got giraffes on it.

Ok I think it is time to let the weekend go now and tuck myself into bed.  Do you ever feel like you can’t go to bed or the weekend will officially be over?
After you comment {{If you can–mine is broken half the time–still bitter}} then head to Farley’s house blog and link up!  I would love to know what you are doing…if I don’t comment please know that I read it!!!

I am into under armor right now for shoes. I have pink and gray running shoes from them right now. (hey they match my scarf!) and I really really felt bad that I hadn't commented on your posts. I mean you are a total BBFF. Let's hope it fixes on Wednesday with the change!!! Chocolate haters? That's sad. Tho Thad.

Your scarf story reminds me that yesterday I was at Old Navy and tried on this ridiculous bird shirt (I put the link there for ya). It made me look a circus performer or something!! I'm sure your giraffe scarf is WAY cuter!!

And it looks like you really want to do a half marathon because it is written in HUGE letters!! More power to you… I am lucky if I can run a mile!!

I sort of liked the shirt on the hanger but on me, not so much!! Everyone on the Old Navy website LOVED it though so I'm sure it is fine on some people… haha!

I really want to run a half marathon too. I started training last year and got up to 5 miles but then I got sick and got derailed. I'm working back up to it slowly. My fiance and I are running a 5K in March. I too am going to have to check out this scarf. Maybe I can go to Target tomorrow when I'm "in town." There is no target near me so I can only go when I go to the closest city.

I always go to bed WAY too late on Sunday night. I get all rested up over the weekend and feel invincible regarding needing sleep. It doesn't help that I'd rather stay up late than get up early. So I stay up late. Then I am so, so, so sorry on Monday morning. Not a good way to start off the week!

      Hi Reagan,
Here is life lived vicariously: I like knowing I will get to see polka dots and a scarf picture at some point this week. I think I can get through two-step algebra problems with that in mind.
My best laugh this morning… "from a distance the birds look like cooked turkey drumsticks." I love starting out a morning with a chuckle (It just turned five in California.)
The hubs is checking out the Blogger problem. If he can fix my site, I'm going to Target to buy a scarf in celebration!

Thanks for the morning merriment. Happy week ahead…
