Here’s my reading response sheets for my Tacky the Penguin week. ((sometimes 2 weeks depending how in depth I like to go!))

You can really go all out on your dramatic reading. {I tend to use an opera type voice when reading about Goodly Lovely Angel Neatly and Perfect….and I use a brass obnoxious voice when reading the parts about Tacky. {Emmy worthy for sure} I have to keep up with my step sister who actually won an Emmy this year. You can see that post HERE. She’s Ellen’s makeup artist. She’s coming for Christmas this year which doesn’t always happen– so we are happy!

Ellen is one of my all time favorite people – okay, dumb admission…can't even believe I'm going to say this. I have emailed her MANY times about a variety of different things. Haven't heard back or anything..but I just think she's so cool – so darn good for the soul!
Okay…time for bed, because some of us have to work tomorrow! 😉

OK, Holly, since it's true confessions time, I've emailed Ellen, too. She once talked about knitting on her show so I invited her to come to our school in TX and one of our third-grade knit club members would teach her to knit. She totally cracks me up! Reagan, enJOY your time with your SISTA – nothing's better than girl time when you're grown ups and you like one another!!!

Finding JOY in 6th Grade
